A Powerful Partnership for Education: Generation INFocus and The Authentic Institute of Montessori Join Forces

November 27, 2023

In an exciting collaboration that promises to transform the landscape of education and community engagement in Georgia, Generation INFocus (GIF) and The Authentic Institute of Montessori (AIM) are proud to announce their partnership. With a shared commitment to educational excellence and a vision for a brighter, more inclusive future, these two organizations are intent upon making a lasting impact on the lives of students and communities.

AIM's Mission: A Commitment to Authentic Montessori Education

AIM is dedicated to providing authentic Montessori training, certification, and professional development to parents and teachers across the globe. Our reach extends from the United States to Southeast Asia and South Africa, ensuring that the Montessori method enriches the lives of children and educators worldwide.

At AIM, Montessori is not just a teaching method; it's a philosophy, a way of life that fosters independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Our training and certification work ensures that the Montessori principles are not confined to a classroom but are embedded in the hearts and minds of children and educators alike.

Generation INFocus: Cultivating Engaged Citizens

Generation INFocus, is a dynamic organization that believes in creating a positive ripple effect in the community, starting with each individual in need. Their mission is to cultivate impactful and engaged citizens who are passionate about creating a world where equality prevails.

GIF understands the profound influence that education has on shaping the future of our communities. Their commitment to nurturing citizens who are socially aware, empathetic, and dedicated to positive change resonates with AIM's vision of empowering teachers.

Merging Missions for a Greater Impact

The partnership between Generation INFocus and The Authentic Institute of Montessori is a powerful merging of missions. Together, we aim to drive a transformational chain reaction, one that begins with quality education and extends into the hearts and minds of individuals, families, and communities.

We are excited to take this partnership to the next level by offering up to ten scholarships per year to aspiring Montessori teachers in the Atlanta area. These scholarships will pave the way for individuals to receive top-notch Montessori training, ensuring that children in the region have access to the very best in early education.

Furthermore, the collaboration between AIM and GIF opens up the possibility of establishing a Montessori teacher residency program in Atlanta, with the first cohort expected in the summer of 2025. This residency program will provide a unique opportunity for aspiring educators to receive hands-on, immersive training and mentorship in the Atlanta area without having to travel. The residency, along with online course work and an internship at a school in Georgia, will complete the Montessori certification course and allow for a comprehensive understanding of the philosophy.

A Bright Future Beckons

With AIM's expertise in Montessori education and GIF's commitment to community transformation, we can look forward to a brighter future, one where education and empowerment work hand in hand to create equality and engagement for all.
